To the Management and staff at The Lobster Cave,

My wife and I celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary at your establishment last night and tho we have dined at your restaurant many times, it has been a while since our last visit.

The most noticeable element to us was undoubtedly the warmth of your staff. From the moment we walked in, we were formally welcomed and without delay ushered efficiently to our table. The attention we were bestowed from that point on was astonishing. A procession of waiters offering drinks, menus and eventually our meals will remain in our thoughts for some time.

Whoops, I nearly forgot to mention the reason we came in the first place, your cuisine, spectacular as always.

I am driven to single out one person for special mention for her attention, service and overall courtesy. We were fortunate to have Sue wait on our table and she is an absolute delight and a credit to your establishment.

On behalf of my wife, I would like to thank you all for a most memorable and enjoyable evening.

Old fashioned service and great value. You are using the right recipe in more ways than one.

To Management and Staff,

Today I bought my Mum and two boys in for lunch to celebrate my Mum’s and youngest sons birthday.

I just wanted to let you know that the service and food was outstanding . I have been in your restaurant three times and every time we come it just gets better.

Today we sat on what I would call the best seat in the house. For me, a single Mum who does not get out much and was shouting my Mum for her birthday and wanted it to be very special. It was and a whole lot more.

I would also like to say it is so nice to go to a restaurant where the children are not just ignored but are treated as adults.

Thankyou once again for a lovely lunch and I hope we will be able to come again soon.

To Kula and The Ferg,

Dorothy May asked me to thank you both very much on her behalf. On her 100th birthday in 2008 we had lunch at your restaurant. When the staff discovered she was 100 , they gathered to sing ‘happy birthday’, presented a small cake and candle and gave Dorothy a champagne cocktail.

MR Ferg gave Dorothy a bottle of red, her favourite drink, to take home and presented her with a ‘gold’ token.

This year on her birthday she was surprised and delighted to receive a card inviting her to a three course meal ‘on the house’. I rang to convey her heart felt thanks and explain that unfortunately Dorothy was too physically frail to attend. Kula took my call and offered a ‘take away’ meal for Dorothy. I collected this and Dorothy thoroughly enjoyed the lobster, her favourite.

Hi Cheryl,

On behalf of my partner, my children and their partners I would really like to sincerely thank you and the people at The Lobster Cave for a truly amazing night. Everything was just so perfect. The food was delicious, my friend said that the food “was made in heaven”. Really exceptional. The service was of the utmost. Our waiter was there for us all the time, he was extremely professional, courteous and friendly. Always making sure that we were alright. My Son and his fiancé were absolutely rapt about the surprise. My son saif that he felt like ‘tearing up’... I did. The special table that we sat at was nice and private and very beautiful. We would think that Bill Ferg would be very proud of his staff.

Thank you and it will be a night that we will always remember.

My partner and I had dinner at your restuarant Saturaday 27th Feburary. It was our first night together since we had our first daughter November last year. Firstly, the food, AMAZING.. we had the Oyster Kilpatrick for Entree and they were the best Oysters I have ever tasted. Our main was Spanish Seafood Paella, it was so big and gorgeous. Compliments to the chef for such outstand food.
 
Phil was our waiter, with his personality, charms, and friendliness it made a lasting impression. Very refreshing to have a nice meal out and have someone like Phil that makes your night just that little extra special. Thank you Phil for all your work. You were the best.
 
And one more person, which needs to noted. Liam. Im not sure if all he does is serve water, but that boy needs to be promoted. He always had a smile, seemed very happy and nothing ever seemed to be to much for him. You need to get him waiting on tables more. Liam sent off a vibe, which made us feel very relaxed and comfortable to be here. He had great customer service and made me smile alot. My mother is a chef and has had numerous restuarants and cafes, so I have been in and out of the industry for many years, and I could see that "spark" in Liam which would make him the ultimate in customer service.
 
The night was amazing, the staff were great and the food was sensational !!

On behalf of my husband and myself I would like to thank the Lobster Cave for a really enjoyable dinner last Saturday night.
We were celebrating my birthday.  My family also joined us.  The meal was fantastic, but more than that the service was outstanding.  Your staff
were so attentive.  Our every whim was catered to.  The "icing on the cake" so to speak, was when the staff brought out a complimentary, lovely white
chocolate mouse in a chocolate cup with a sparkler on it and sang happy birthday.  It really made our night!  In a world where customer service seems to be somewhat lacking.. your attentiveness throughout the night was so refreshing.  All of us walked out of the restaruant feeling really blessed.  Your restaurant and your staff are a credit to the hospitality industry and we look forward to dining with you again.

We are regulars at your excellent restaurant, and on Sunday 28/3/10 I celebrated my 51st Birthday with my extended Family of twelve.
I would just like to thank all the staff for there superb service and fantastic food we had on the day, we selected food from your $29.00 Specials menu
and we all thought that the quality of food on offer well exceeded any other restaurant we had frequented in the past at way above that price point.
